Voting for the 2006 Awards is now closed.

Broadway At Bedtime is proud to announce the winners of the inaugural BABS - The Broadway At Bedtime Music Theatre Awards.

And the winners are:

The Broadway at Bedtime People's Choice Music Theatre Award
For an exceptional performance, presentation or contribution within the Australian Music Theatre industry in the year 2006 and/or prior.

Awarded to an individual or individuals, organization or presentation, whose contribution, Broadway at Bedtime deems, has advantaged the form of Music Theatre in Australia beyond the call of duty.

For delivering quality Musical Theatre to the young audiences of today and tomorrow for 30+ years. And for the development and employment of Australian performers for the same period.

There are only 2 awards: one chosen by Broadway At Bedtime, and, one chosen by you, the listeners.

These names appear:

• because each has offered an exceptional performance, presentation or contribution within the Australian Music Theatre industry in the year 2006 and/or prior.

• to inform the Music Theatre audience of the roles that are played by those not necessarily prominently featured in the presentation of a Musical Theatre work or the ongoing-support of the industry.
